Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is the permanent removal of a tooth from its socket in.the bone which may become necessary if a tooth is too diseased or damaged to be saved through alternate treatments, required for orthodontic treatment or wisdom tooth impaction.
Unless a tooth being extracted is a primary tooth (baby tooth) or is being extracted to reduce overcrowding then in most cases the tooth will need to be replaced to avoid the adjacent teeth shifting and opposing teeth over erupting causing malocclusion and misalignment .
